Ben Harris Audio

Your Personal Audio Engineer

"I've gotten to work with a wide variety of clients with varying levels of recording experience; everyone from first timers to label artists. Wherever people are in their recording journey, I'm proud to offer every service they need to get their project from the idea stage to the final mix." - B

Audio Recording
Tracking your audio is the first and most important step in making your project sound radio ready. Using a collection of high quality microphones and professional recording techniques, I'll make sure your project sounds the best that it can in any recording environment.

Production
Creative production can get your project from sounding flat and lifeless to vibrant, exciting, and full of motion. Stutter effects, sweeps, soft-synths and many other production elements combine in the hands of a talented producer to elevate your project and keep the listener engaged.

Mixing
Once your project is fully tracked and produced, the mixing process takes every element and ensures they work together harmoniously. Automation, panning, and intentional use of essential audio tools (compression, eq, reverb/delay, etc.) ensures that no one element of your project feels out of place or overlooked.

Arranging
Whether its horns, strings, or group vocals, I can create arrangements that accentuate your project without overwhelming it. These can be created using virtual instruments, or, if live instrumentation is preferred, I can transcribe the arrangements for session performers.

Songwriting Consultation
Sometimes, when you're writing, you want a second opinion. Through my experiences working with other songwriters in-studio as well as my time in professional theater as a music director, I've learned how to be a good collaborator and can provide informed guidance when requested on song structure and lyric choices.

Session Musician
In addition to audio engineering, I'm a multi-instrumentalist and can record additional parts for your project on real or virtual instruments. These include: piano, guitar, vocals, bass, drums, Hammond organ, mandolin, harmonica, percussion, and more.
